Lit Terms

Term	Definition
Plot	A series of related events in a story.
Setting	Where the story takes place.
Conflict	The problem of the story.
Retelling	Putting what happens in the story in your own words.
Author	The person who wrote the story.
Narrator	Ther person telling the story.
Protagonist	The hero in the story.
Antagonist	The villian or "bad guy" in the story.
Climax	The most exciting part of the story.
Resolution	Usually at the end of the story when everything is resolved. All loose ends are tied up.
