Ascending Order To order from smallest to largest
Convert To change one expression to another
Denominator the number below the line in a fraction
Descending order To order from largest to smallest
Equivalent numbers Different ways to express the same value
Exponential numbers Numbers written with exponents
Irrational numbers Numbers that cannot be written as a ratio
Numerator The top number in a fraction
Rational numbers Numbers that can be expressed as ratios of two integers
Real numbers The set of numbers that contains all the rational and irrational numbers
Scientific notation Numbers written as a product of a decimal number between 1 and 10, and a power of 10
