What is a ring stand? A metal stand consisting of a long upright rod attached to a base that is used with rings or clamps for supporting lab equipment.
What is a beaker? A deep cup or glass with a wide mouth used to hold solids or liquids.
What is a test tube? A tube of thin glass closed at one end used to hold small samples.
What is a triple Beam Balance? A type of scale that is used to measure mass in grams.
What is a dropper? A short glass or plastic tube with a rubber bulb used to measure out liquid by drops.
What is a gradulated cylinder? A tall narrow container used for measuring liquids in milliliters.
What is a thermometer? An instrument used for measuring temperature.
What is a petri dish? A small shallow dish with a loose cover used to grow bacteria or to hold small samples.
What is a microscope? An optical instrument with lenses used for magnifying small objects.
What is a flask? A flat-bottomed glass container that tapers upward to a straight neck that is used to hold liquids and solutions.
What is a funnel? A utensil usually shaped like a hollow cone used to transfer solids or liquids from a larger container to a smaller one.
What is a Bunsen burner? Gas burner used to heat things up.
