speaker Def: the voice in a poem that talks to the reader; the speaker is not necessarily the poet
stanza Def: the grouping of two or more lines in a poem
symbolism Def: the usage of symbols, objects, people, actions, places or anything else that has a meaning deeper that the obvious meaning.
theme Def: the central idea in a story
third person point of view Def: told from the point of view of an observer or narrater
tone Def: The writer or speaker's attitude towards the message, text, subject, character or audience.
voice Def: an author's or a narrator's distinctive style or manner of expression
