Basic Terms

Foldable Basic Terms

TermDefinition
Point A location. Has no size or shape.
Line A set of points that extend in opposite directions without end.
Plane A flat surface. A set of points that extend in all directions without end.
Line Segment Part of a line, with 2 endpoints.
Ray Part of a line, with 1 endpoint that extends infinitely in one direction.
Angle Formed by 2 rays with the same endpoint.
Collinear Points 3 or more points on the same line
Non-collinear Points 3 or more points NOT on the same line.
