Chemistry Science of matter and the changes it undergoes
Matter Anything that takes up space and has mass
Element Matter consisting of only atoms of the same elements
Compound Matter consisting of atoms of different elements bonded to each other
Substance Matter with a constant make up and all particles ha the same properties
Homogeneous particles that are uniformly distributed
Heterogenous particles that are not evenly distributed
Mass Anything that has weight and takes up space
colloid hetero mix with small particles that hang in the mixture
suspension hetero mix with large particles that settle.

intensive inherent to something no matter the amount
extensive not inherent and dependent on the amount of matter present
