| Term | Definition |

| Bisect | to cut into two equal parts |
| Chord | a segment with two endpoints on the circle |
| Corresponding Angles | two angles that are in similar positions relative to the lines and transversal |
| Diameter | a chord that goes through the center of a circle |
| Isosceles | a triangle with two congruent sides (at least) |
| Line Segment | part of a line consisting of two endpoints and all of the points between them |
| Parallel Lines | lines in the same plane that do not intersect, have the same slope and are equidistant |
| Quadrilaterals | a closed figure formed by 4 segments intersecting at their endpoint |
| Rectangle | a parallelogram with four right angles |
| Parallelogram | a quadrilateral in which opposite sides are parallel |
