What is a sentence? Which one is a subject, He or love? Which one is a verb, he or love? A sentence is a group of words. A sentence always has a subject and a verb. he is a subject. love is a verb.
What is a subject? I live in Arizona. Which one is a subject? A subject is who or what does the verb. It comes right before a verb in a sentence. I is a subject.
What are the two types of verbs: Which one is an action verb, drive or like? Which one is non-action verb, play or have 1. Many verbs express actions. 2. Some verbs do not express actions. Drive is an action verb.
What is a singular noun? What is a plural noun? Write plurals of hot dog, watch, library A singular noun is one thing or person. A plural noun is more than on thing or person. hot dogs watches libraries
write irregular plural nouns: person man woman child people men women children
Put the words in order. 1. small / my / is / house / . 2. he / teacher / a / is / ? 1. My house is small. 2. Is he a teacher?
What is a paragraph? A paragraph is a group of sentences with one main idea.
What is an indent? There is a space before you start writing a paragraph.
What is a capital letter? Use a capital letter for the first word in a sentence.
How does a sentence end? Put a question mark (?) after a question. Put a period (.) after a statement.
Write plural nouns for box, church, dish, and kiss boxes churches dishes kisses
Write plural nouns for tomato, volcano, photo, and piano tomatoes volcanoes photos pianos
Write plural nouns for boy, key, baby, party, and city boys keys babies parties cities
Write plural nouns for knife and wife knives wives
