| Verbs | The word or phrase of words that represents the action or existence without the compliment. |
| Types of Nouns | Common, proper, collective, and abstract. |
| Types of Verbs | Transitive, intransitive, to be verbs, and modals |
| Types of Sentences | Simple, Compound, Complex, and Compound Complex |
| Pronouns | Nouns that take the place of other nouns |
| Antecedents | Words that refer to the pronoun used to replace the word |
| Types of Pronouns | Nominative and Objective |
| Adjectives | Modify nouns |
| Adverbs | Modify verbs, adjectives, and adverbs |
| Prepositions | Words that begin prepositional phrases |
