Chapter 2: Divide Whole Numbers

compatible numbers Numbers that are easy to compute with mentally.
estimate To find out an answer that is close to the exact amount.
inverse operations Opposite operations, or operations that und each other, such as multiplication and division.
remainder The amount left over when a number cannot be divided equally.
