Writing techniques explained with example

QuestionAnswer
Title Name of the document you are reading for example: Flash Card
Sub-heading A secondary title which is just about a specific part of the text. An example would be on an article on a health lifestyle your heading may be How to be healthier a subheading may be exercise.
Alliteration Using words with the same first letter to make an impact: Fantastic Friday Feeling
Metaphor Using a phrase to describe something in a none literal way: It's raining cats and dogs
Paragraphs Separating the text into small sections to make it easier to read. This is also called using white space and is more reader friendly.
Personalisation Explaining how a situation relates to the writer or their personal feelings. I believe that this is awesome
Pictures To help the reader identify what the text is about.
Persuasive language The writer showing a bias and uses language to make the reader agree. For example: The movie is truly amazing with exciting graphics and fast pace storyline.
Facts Using statistics or factual information to support what the writing is explaining. An example of this would be in an article about cookie sells: You'll eat about 36000 cookies in your lifetime
Bullet Points Use bullet points to make a list easier to read.
