The 16 places in the odysees

QuestionAnswer
Troy Where the Trojan war took place; Lasted 10 years
Cicones Where Odysseus and his crew stop and kill the men eat there food and steel their women; Odysseus tells his men to leave but they don't listen and some get killed
Lotus Eaters Where Odysseus stops and a few of his men eat the lotus flower and forget about home
Cyclops Where Odysseus stops and is trapped by Polyphemus a cyclops he eats many of Odysseus's men but the stab his eye out and escape; But later are cursed by Posiden
Island of Aeolia There they meet king Aeolia the god of winds he gives them a good bag of winds and a bad but Odysseus men open the bad and it blows them back to Aeolia.
Laestrygonians The giant cannibals that throw boulders down on Odysseus's ships destroying all but his ship
Circe She turns all Odysseus's men into pigs except one but is helped by Hermes to turn them back
Teiresias and The Land of the Dead They go there to seek the help of Teriesias in the land of the dead he tells Odysseus not to touch on the island of the sun god
Circe (again) They again go back to Circe to seek help and she also says don't touch the cattle; She then turns Odysseus's men back to humans
Sirens While Odyseeus and his men are at see they come across the sirens they are bird people that sing and make you go mad so Odysseus men but beeswax in their ears and tie Odysseus to the mast
Charybdis The giant whirlpool that drains the sea and spits it up three times a day which Odysseus goes around
Scylla The six headed monster that takes one man for each head Odysseus loses 6 men
Thrinakia The island of the sun god where Odysseus men disobey and eat the sun god's cattle
Calypso Where Odysseus is the only one of all his men left and Calypso keeps him on her island for 7 years
Pheaecia Where Odysseus meets a king and tells him his whole story the king takes him home to Ithaca
Ithaca There Odysseus has to kill all the suitors and prove to his wife that it really is him
