| Term | Definition |

| Undergraduate | A student in a university who has not yet received the first degree. (bachelor Degree) |
| Graduate Student | A student who has completed a course of study at a college and has received a degree. |
| Alumni | A former student from a specific college. |
| Admission | A fee paid for the right to enter. |
| Bachelor's Degree | A degree that you earn for 4 years of college. |
| Associate's Degree | a degree granted by a two-year college on successful completion of the undergraduates course of studies. |
| ACT | A college readiness benchmark. |
| SAT | A scholastic Assessment test to determine your college placement |
| Transcript | an official report supplied by a school on the record of an individual student, listing subjects studied, grades received, etc. |
| Financial Aids | Money to support a worthy person or cause. |
| Major | A subject or field of study chosen by a student to graduate in. |
| Minor | Lesser in importance, serious,or significance in a subject in college. |
| Credits | A course credit is a unit that gives weighing to value, level, time |
| Public College | A university that is public funded through a national or substantial government. |
| Private College | Private schools, also known as independent schools, are not administered by local, state or national governments |
