TermDefinition
Undergraduate A student in a university who has not yet received the first degree. (bachelor Degree)
Graduate Student A student who has completed a course of study at a college and has received a degree.
Alumni A former student from a specific college.
Admission A fee paid for the right to enter.
Bachelor's Degree A degree that you earn for 4 years of college.
Associate's Degree a degree granted by a two-year college on successful completion of the undergraduates course of studies.
ACT A college readiness benchmark.
SAT A scholastic Assessment test to determine your college placement
Transcript an official report supplied by a school on the record of an individual student, listing subjects studied, grades received, etc.
Financial Aids Money to support a worthy person or cause.
Major A subject or field of study chosen by a student to graduate in.
Minor Lesser in importance, serious,or significance in a subject in college.
Credits A course credit is a unit that gives weighing to value, level, time
Public College A university that is public funded through a national or substantial government.
Private College Private schools, also known as independent schools, are not administered by local, state or national governments
