| free association (n. phr.) | psychological technique where patients say the first thing that comes into their heads i.e. hot-fire. |
| irrational (adj.) | unreasonable, illogical |
| motive (n.) | a reason, purpose |
| outburst (n.) | sudden action, usually of shouting and anger. |
| severe (adj.) | very bad, serious, extreme |
| anorexia nervosa (n. phr.) | medical illness where people want to lose weight |
| bipolar disorder (n. phr.) | medical illness where people's moods change quickly and violently |
| delusion (n.) | when you believe something that is not true or real. |
| hydrophobia (n.) | fear of water |
| intolerance (n.) | not being able to stand something or someone, not being able to handle people or situations |
