7 Color Target
Vocabulary, techniques, and process for the Color Target painting project.

Colors that are opposite of each other on the color wheel. | Complementary Colors |

How do we see colors around us? | A light source (like the sun) contains all the colors of the rainbow. This light hits an object and the colors in that object are then reflected into our eyes. Our eyes then work to decipher the colors that we see. |
What kind of symmetry did we focus on during the Color Target project? | Radial symmetry |
What are concentric circles? | Two or more circles that share the same center or axis and fit inside each other (like a target!). |

How do you make sure that your painting is not streaky and therefore has good craftsmanship? | Paint with smooth and even brush strokes. |
