| Abrogate | To abolish, do away with, repeal, or cancel, especially by authority. |
| Conquistador | A conqueror, especially one of the Spanish soldiers who defeated the native civilizations of Mexico, Central America, or Peru in the 1500's. |
| Inquisitive | Eager for knowledge; inclined to investigate. Excessively curious; inclined to ask questions; nosy. |
| Interrogate | To question formally and officially. |
| Perquisite | A benefit of employment besides one's salary; a fringe benefit. Something claimed as an exclusive right. A tip; a gratuity. |
| Presage | An indication or a warning of a future event; an omen. A feeling or an intuition of what is going to occur. To indicate or warn of in advance; to foretell or predict. |
| Quest | A search or pursuit; the act of seeking something. To seek or pursue. |
| Requisite | Required; essential. Something essential or indispensable; a requirement. |
| Sagacity | Wisdom; sound judgement. |
| Surrogate | One who takes the place of another; a substitute. |
