| prison | a place in which people found guilty of a crime must stay for a certain period of time |
| linen | Thread or cloth made of flax or (rarely) of hemp; -- used in a general sense to include cambric, shirting, sheeting, towels, tablecloths, etc. |
| palace | The residence of a sovereign, including the lodgings of high officers of state, and rooms for business, as well as halls for ceremony and reception. |
| climate | The condition of a place in relation to various phenomena of the atmosphere, as temperature, moisture, etc., especially as they affect animal or vegetable life. |
| talent | Intellectual ability, natural or acquired; mental endowment or capacity; skill in accomplishing; a special gift, particularly in business, art, or the like; faculty; |
