TermDefinition
Three diminsional figure A soild that has a length, width and depth.
Polyhedron 3-D figure whose faces are all polygons.
Lateral faces The surfaces of prisms and prymids.
Base The shape that gives the figure its name.
rectgular prism Made of all rectangles.
triangular prism The base is a triangle.
Circle The set fall points that are the same distance from a central point.
Center The middle point of a circle.
Raduis The distance from the center of ang point on the circle.
Diameter The distance across the circle through the center.
Circumference The distance aroung the circle.
Pie 3.14 or pie the ratio circumference/ diameter.
