Factoring Expressing a polynomial as products.
Quadratic Formula The formula that can be used to solve any quadratic equation.
FOIL Method A way to multiply binomials.
Complex Fraction A fraction within another fraction.
Inverse Variation An equation where xy = k OR y = k/x.
Quadratic Equation An equation where x is raised to the second power.
Direct Variation An equation where y = kx.
Parabola The graph of a quadratic function.
Similar Figures Polygons with the same shape and proportional side lengths.
Radical A symbol that means a non-negative square root.
Pythagorean Theorem The relationship between the sides of a right triangle.
Irrational Number As a decimal, a number that never repeats or terminates.
