Varför är en atom alltid oladdad? En atom har alltid lika många protoner som elektroner. De har lika många positiva som negativa laddningar. De tar ut varandra.
Vad är en jon? En jon är en atom som inte har lika många protoner som elektroner. Den då negativt eller positivt laddad.
Hur bildas en jon? En atom kan ta upp eller ge bort elektroner. Då blir den en jon.
Vilken laddning får en jon om den lämnar bort elektroner? Positiv laddning
Vilken laddning får en jon om den tar upp elektroner? Negativ laddning
Har en atom och en jon av samma ämne samma egenskaper? Nej, en atom och en jon av samma ämne har olika egenskaper.
Vad har vätejonen för viktig egenskap? Den gör ett ämne surt
Vilken jon gör ett ämne basiskt? Hydroxidjon.
Vilken kemisk formel har vätejonen? H+
