Cavalry Soldiers who fought on horseback.
Hoplite An armed foot soldier who fought in armies of the Greek city-states.
Hellespont Narrow strait in northwestern Turkey; Dardanelles.
Sanctuary A place of worship.
Parthenon The Temple of Athena, which is on the acropolis.
