| Public Domain | It refers to works that belong to the public. It can be used free of charge and doesn't require written permission from the author/creator. |
| Moral Rights | They are rights provided to creators under copyright laws to protect their reputation and the integrity of their work. |
| Performing Rights | It is the right to perform music in public. It is included in the copyright law and the payment goes to the music's composer and publisher. |
| Plagiarism | It is the act of taking another's writing, conversation, song or even an idea and passing it off as your own. |
| Fair Dealing | It is the use of content that are considered valid defenses to copyright infringement such as criticism and review. |
| Patent | It is a government license that gives the holder exclusive rights to process and design on new intervention for a certain period of time. |
| Blanket Licenses | It is a public performance license that allows the license the right to use any song under the supervision of a performing rights organization. |
