QuestionAnswer
ROTATION The action of rotating around an axis or center: "in the same direction as the earth's rotation".
REVOLUTION The movement of an object around another object.
orbit The path of an object as it revolve around another object in space.
geocentric A model of the universe in witch earth is at the center of the revolving planets and stars.
heliocentric A model of the solar system in witch earth and other planets revolve around the sun.
natural satellite A natural satellite or moon is a celestial body that orbits a planet or smaller body, which is called the primary.
solar system The collection of planets and their moons in orbit around a sun, together with smaller bodies such as asteroids, meteoroids, and comets.
Astronamy The study of the moon, stars and other object in space.
