| What is one feature you would change about yourself and why? | I'm a thinker, not necessarily a bad thing, but i tend to overanalyze things; my thumb:-) |

| What is your definition of success? | ~no regrets ~when you can say you've done your best, and there's nothing more you could have done (cheerleading motto/ life motto) |

| Name one living person who inspires you & tell why? How does Oprah inspire you- what about? | Oprah - her goal is to impact lives & help people and she has done just that. She's real. She can relate to people & inspire them. b) She shows someone who doesn't let any adversity stop her, and she also gives back |
| When have you been very proud of yourself in your life? | Overcoming tumbling whipe-out fears & trying out in front of a jam-packed gym - solo & pushing through my mental fears of getting hurt during my tumbling pass. |
| What do you think is the most important discovery of the last century? Why? | Internet- Globally connecting people & reconnecting people (example: college roommates)...education - opens doors! visual learners |
| According to you, what is femininity? | Poise, confidence, being proud to be a young woman, respecting myself and others. |
| What or who motivates you, and why? | my mom,she always on the ball, and though sometimes i take it for granted---or nagging :)--- she helps me understand the bigger picture & that helps me stay on track from day-to-day |
| Tell me something that will make me remember you. | Love to laugh-- silly -can never finish my own stories because i laugh too much |
| What will you choose, family or career? Why? | Family-- it's nice to have stability, but ultimately a job won't keep you happy, family is the most important which is why i feel a career that doesn't require crazy hours is best |
| What does a woman of substance mean to you? | Someone who is smart, strong, not afraid to stand up for what she believes in or chase her dreams - the whole package. |
| Do you think you can make an impact on society? How? | Like what rachel scott says--- chain reaction--- may not seem like a lot, but simple acts of kindness have a ripple effect -be a good role model -even just making someone smile. |

Why? | Childhood Obesity: -I always want to be up and doing something -fitness is a big part of my life -technology/ not becoming aware -food choice is a big solution but it really comes down to getting up, getting active, and actually enjoying it. | What do you like to do together as a family? Hobbies? | Boating has always been our thing to do together...out in beautiful nature, quiet & away from distractions, enjoying each other & fun on water. |

| What do you most look forward to in the next 5 years? 10 years? | Looking forward to new experiences, and meeting new people. Really just enjoying life wherever I am. |
| Who inpires you? Who are your role models? | Rachel Scott - As the Ist Columbine shooting victim, Rachel's legacy of treating others with kindness & respect inspires me to want to do the same. It's phenomenal that she continues impact so many in such a powerful way, even in death. |
| If you were to represent VA as the DYW, what would that mean to you? | i would be honored, its an amazing orgainization, and to be given the chance to represent va and be a role model for young women would be very great |
| What obstacle have you had to overcome? | Mental fears - negative stereotypes of cheerleading |
| Anything else you'd like us to know about you? | I've found its easy to live life on autopilot, and sometimes its nice to stop and look back at your life and what has shaped you, recall old memories, preparing for college has definitely helped me do that |
| Read the latest Daily Press......for a local story or concern....sequestration on our area | 900000 jobs lost in defense, many teachers being cut, nice that the rep would give his salary. We are all in this together, the big thing is to compromise |
| What do you expect to gain by participating in DYW? Why participate? | Friendships, it has helped me step out of my comfort zone and helped increase my confidence, especially with the interview. |
