Measurement describes a quantity such as time, lenght,distanec,mass,volume,or temperature
experiment Is a test or trial that produces evidence you can use to help answer a question/hypothesis
data collected information, the results of an experiment/investigation
quantitative data data that includes numbers (with units) measured during an experiment
qualitative data data that include descriptions of things you observe
hypothesis is an idea that can be tested by an experiment
dependent variable the factor(thing) that is being observed and or measured in an experiment
independent variable is the onefactor(thing) that is changed during an experiment
control variable varible that stays the same during an experiment
