G5 Decimal Rules

QuestionAnswer
When multiplying decimals the rule is? Count how many places over from the right the decimal is for each factor and add that up for the number of places in the product.
When dividing decimals the rule is? Change the divisor into a whole number by moving the decimal to the right. Then do the same thing to the dividend. Move the decimal straight up into the quotient.
When adding decimals the rule is? Line up all the decimals and keep it in the same place for the sum.
When subtracting decimals the rule is? Line up all the decimals and keep it in the same place for the difference.
