System of Equations 2 or more equations with the same variables.
Consistent 1 solution
Inconsistent no solution
Independant has exactly one solution.
Dependent infinite number of solutions
substitution method one equation is solved for one variable in terms of the other.
elimination method eliminate one of the variables by adding or subtracting the equations.
system of inequalities solved by finding all ordered pairs that satisfy it.
constraints guidelines or restrictions
feasible region the intersection of the graphs.
bounded when the graph of a system of constraints is a polygonal region.
vertices The maximum or minimum.
unbounded If the feasible region is open.
linear programming process of finding maximum or minimum values of a function for a region defined by inequalities
ordered triple the solution of a system of equations with 3 variables.
