Chemical Reaction The process in which one or more substances change to make one or more new substances.
Precipitate A solid that is produced as a result of a chemical reaction.
Exothermic Reaction A chemical reaction in which energy is released.
Endothermic Reaction A chemical reaction in which energy is taken absorbed.
Law of Conservation of Energy Energy can not be created or destroyed in a chemical reaction.
Chemical Formula A shorthand way to use chemical symbols and numbers to represent a substance.
Chemical Equation Using chemical symbols and formulas as a short hand way to describe a chemical reaction.
Reactants The starting materials of a chemical reaction.
Products The ending materials of a chemical reaction.
Law of Conservation of Mass Mass is neither created or destroyed in a chemical reaction.
