What isn't Psychology? Psudo Psychology = Philosophys, Hippocrates' theory of the Four Humours, Astrology or Horoscopes, Evil Spirits, Exorcisms, Trephination, Phrenology and Palm Reading.
What is the Philosophy of the Ancient Greeks? The Ancient Greeks used reason and arguments.
Who's Philosophy was using reason and argements? The Ancient Greeks
What is Pseudo? What is ment by Pseudo Psychology? False or fake. False or fake Psychology.
What are Astrology and Horoscopes? Personality dermined by birthdate.
Differnt behavior was caused by what? How was this behavior treated? Evil Spirits. Exorcims or Trephination
What is Exorcims? Trying to take the demond out of the body through the Word of God.
What is Trephination? Drilling holes into the head so the demonds come out.
What is Phrenology? Using the shape of the head to predict behavior?
What is Palm Reading? Using lines on the palms to predict your future.
Who is James Randi? He shows people that Psychics are fake.
Who is the Father of Psychology? Wilhelm Wundt
What did Peter Popoff do? Him and his wife used the power of God to tell people that God gave him the power to cure illness.

What is the defintion of behavior and examples? Anything an organism does like eat, sleep, and smile.
What is the defintion of mental processes? Interal experiences we infer from behavior, thought or feelings.
What is the defintion of science? Use careful obersvation and rigorous analysis experimentation.
What was the theory of the 4 humours? Body fluids that determind personality

What is trephination? Drilling the skull to let out the demons.

Psychological perspective view behavior from a particular perspective means what? Psychologist look at behavior from diffrenet point of views.
What does cognitive perspective focus on? On how people think and process information.
What is the behavior of cognitive perspective? Behavior is explained by how a person interprets the situation.
What does biological perspective focus on? How our biological structures ans substances underlie a given behavior; thought or emotion.
What is the behavior of biological perspective? Behavior is explained by brian shemistry, genetics, and glands.
What does social-cultural perspective focus on? How thinking and behavior change depending in the setting or situation.
What is the behavior of social-cultural perspective? Behavior is explained by the influence of the other people present.
What does humanistic perspective focus on? How healthy people strive to reachtheir full potential.
What is the behavior of humanistic perspective? Behavior is explained as being motivated by satisfying needs (safety, hunger, thirst, etc.) with the goal of reaching one's full potenical once basic needs are met.
What is psychodynamic perspective focus on? How behavior is affected by unconscious drives and conflict.
What is the behavior of psychodynamic perspective? Behavior is explained through unconscious motivation and unresolved inner conflicts fron one's childhood.
