| Adjacent Angles | a pair of angles that share a common vertex and interior side. they do not over lap but they are side by side |
| vertical angles | a pair of angles that share only a vertex, are opposite to each other and are congruent. |
| supplementary angles | two angles added tougher to make exactly 180 degrees |
| complementary angles | two angles added together to make exactly 90 degrees |
| alternative interior | a pair of angels inside a set of parallel lines and on the opposite side of the transversal |
| alternative exterior | a pair of angels located outside of the parallel lines and on opposite sides of the transversal |
| corresponding | angels that are in the same position when a transversal intersects a pair of lines. angels are congruent if the lines are parallel |
| transversal | a line that intersects a pair of parallel lines on its plane. |
