ray apart of a line that are end point and extends without end in one direction
angle- a figure formed by two rays or line segments with a common end point
line- straight line that goes on forever in one direction
perpendicular lines, line segments, or rays that are perpendicular if they are formed right anlges
parallel the same distance apart at ever point
oblique line lines that are not parallel or perpendicular
intersect to cut or divie by passing though or across
protracter a tool that measures angles
degree a unit for measuring angles also mearues tempreture
right angle an angle that measures 90 degrees
straight angle an angle having 180 degrees
polygon- a closed plane figure with sides made of straight line segments
congruent- same size same shape
isosceles triangle- a triangle with at least 2 congruent sides
equilateral triangle- having all equal sides
scalene triangle- a triangle with no equal sides
acute triangle- a triangle with at least 1 acute angle
obtuse triangle- an triangle with at least one obtuse angle.
right triangle- a triangle with at least one right angle
right trapezoid- a trapizoid with at least one right angle
circle- a plane figure that forms a closed figure so that all the points on the path are the same Distance from a point called the center
reflex angle- an angle greater than 180 degrees
