Ray A Part of a line that has one endpoint and extends without end in one direction.
Angle A figure formed by two rays or line segments with a common endpoint.
Line A straight path that goes on forever in opposite directions.
Perpendicular Lines, line segments, or rays are perpendicular if they form right angles.
Parallel The same distance apart at every point.
Oblique Lines that are not parallel or perpendicular.
Intersect To cut or divide by passing through or across.
Protractor A tool used to measure angles.
Degree A unit for measuring angles, Also a unit for measuring temperature.
Right angle An angle that measures 90 degrees.
Straight angle An angle of 180 Degrees.
Opposite angle When two lines intersect, the angles formed are opposite angles.
Vertical angle Vertical angles have the same angle.
Polygon A closed plane figure
Congruent Exactly the same size and shape
Isosceles triangle A triangle with at least two congruent sides
Equilateral triangle A triangle with 3 acute angles
Scalene triangle A triangle with no equal sides is a scalene triangle
Acute triangle An angle whose measure is less than 90 degrees

Circle A plane figure that forms a closed path so that all the points on the path are the same distance from a point in the center.
