How did Renaissance literature differ from medieval literature? Writings were no longer focused on God but became more secular. Writers also like to express thoughts and feelings about life and individuals. Medieval writings were in Latin while Renaissance were in local dialect so all could read it
How is Dante's The Divine Comedy an example of humanist art? It highlights strong emotions and experiences of individuals
How did the study of science change during the Renaissance? Scientists began to perform experiments and analyzed the results using mathematics and logic. They also began to question old ideas and, make observations

How did the Medici's rule Florence for so long? They built palaces,kept a strong military,supported art,writing and music,got very involved with city life,and defeated their enemies

What industries helped Florence become the center of the Renaissance? Florence had a great woolen cloth making industry but that was not all they did they also were great know bankers
What were two differences between Florence's Old Market and New Market? In the Old Market is was gross and messy, could buy weapons and food but the New Market was luxurious and sold mostly cloth and had banking because they banned food and weapons
