eurykleia the head maid, very close with penelope and loyal to odysseus
melenthius the goatherd who betrays odysseus and telemekus by helping the suitors in their last battle
calypso nymph who keeps odysseus on her island for 7 years, is very in love with him
kirke evil witch who turns some of the crew into pigs
laeretes father of odysseus
tireseus blind fortune teller of the underworld who helps odysseus when he comes to him, tells him his destiny and fate
helen wife of menelaos, woman who started the trojan war
agamemnon odysseus encounters his spirit in the underworld, a former king who was murdered by his wife when he came home from the war
alcinius king of the phaikins, who kindly helped odysseus return to ithaka
menelaos king of sparata and wife of helen, helps telemekus on his search to find his father
lotus eaters group of people who live on a strange island, always eat strange flowers that make you not want to leave and keep eating
polyhemus son of poseidon who is a cyclops and is stabbed in the eye by odysseys and his men when he traps them in his cave
sirenes group of nymphs that try to lure sailors to crash their ships on their shores by singing haunting songs
kylla 6 headed monster that eats many of the crew
charybdis giant waterpool monster that swallows odysseus' ship and crew
laestrygonians group of giants that eat some of the crew and pelt hilltops and some of the ships
kikones people of an island called ismarus, odysseus and his men take their treasures and enslave their women. these people attack and kill some of the crew
Aiolos kind king who is welcoming to the crew, gives them a bag of wind so they can return home faster
