What is an Homophone? A word that sounds the same but spelled different.
What is an Topic Sentence? A sentence at the beginning of a paragraph that explains what you are going to be reading about.
What is an Thesis Statement? A sentence of at the end of a paragraph that is like a short summary of what you read.
What are the five themes you need to check for in an summary? Punctuation, Grammar, Spelling, Capitalization, and Proofreading.
What are five examples of easily confused words? All ways- Always, Every one- Everyone, Any Where- Anywhere, etc.
Angle- Where two lines intersect
Haphazard- Lacking of organization
Bondage- Being a slave
Exasperation- To irritate intensely
Desolate- Deserted
Confiscate- To take away
Allowed= Aloud
Navel= Naval
Aweigh= Away
All Together= Altogether
Kneaded= Needed
All Ways= Always
All Ready= Already
Anymore= Any More
