QuestionAnswer
Proportional If two ratios are equivalent they are proportional.
Ratios A comparison of two quantities by division.
Corresponding Angles Angles in the same relative position in polygons with an equal number of sides.
Corresponding Sides Matching sides of two or more polygons.
Equivalent Ratios Ratios that name the same comparison.
Indirect measurment The technique of using similar figures and proportions to find a measure.
Proportion An equation that states that two ratios are equivalent.
Rate A ratio that compares two quantities measured in different units.
Scale The ratio between two sets of measurments.
Scale Drawing A drawing that uses a scale to make an object smaller than or larger than the real object.
Scale Model A proportional model of a 3D object.
Similar Figures with the same shape, but not nessceraily the same size are similar.
