Regular, weak verb Chop off the ending "en" and replace with a "t". Put "ge" at the beginning of the verb. Machen --> Macht
"Eren" verbs (Studieren) Cut the "ren" and replace with a "t". Studieren --> Studiert
Regular, strong verbs denken --> gedacht bringen --> gebracht
Seperable prefix verbs Place a "ge" after the "auf". aufrAumen --> aufgerAumt
Irregular, strong verbs treffen --> getroffen
