Equivalent fractions Fractions that name the same number.
Greatest common factor The greatest of the common factors of two or more numbers.
Improper fraction A fraction that has a numerator that is greater than or equal to the denominator. The value of an improper fraction is greater than or equal to 1
least common denominator The least common multiple of the denominators of two or more fractions.
least common multiple The least of the common multiples of two or more numbers.
mixed numbers The sum of a whole numbers and a fraction.
multiple The product of the number and any whole numbers
simplest form The form of a fraction when the GCF of the numerator and the denominator is 1.
