| Logic | Correct reasoning backed by solid reasons and evidence. |
| Logic Falllacies | Incorrect ways of reasoning. |
| Faulty Reasoning | Flawed thinking. |
| Hasty Generalization | A conclusion drawn from too little evidence. |
| Over generalization | A broad conclusion using all- or-nothing words like every, always, and never. |
| Circular Reasoning | Reasons that say the same thing over and over again using different words. |
| False Cause | The assumption that one event caused another because it occurred earlier in time. |
| Commercial Advertisement | Intended to generate sales for a particular service or product. |
| Propaganda | The attempt to convince an audience to accept ideas without considering other view points. |
| Propaganda Techniques | Bandwagon appeal, stereotype, name-calling, snob appeal, and endorsement. |
| Bandwagon Appeal | Takes advantage of people's desire to be part of a group or to popular. |
| Stereotype | Presents a narrow, fixed idea about all the member of a certain group. |
| Name-Calling | Is the use of loaded words to create negative feelings about a person, group, or thing. |
| Snob Appeal | Sends the message that something is valuable because only "special" people appreciate it. |
| Endorsement | A recommendation make by someone who is well known but not necessarily an authority |
