Area of Basic Shapes

Algebra - Rectangle, Square, Triangle, Trapezoid, Circle

QuestionAnswer
The area of a square is: A = b*h
The area of a rectangle is: A = b*h
The area of a triangle is: A = (1/2)*b*h
The area of a trapezoid is: A = (1/2)*h*(b1+b2)
The area of a circle is: A = pi*r^2
To find the perimeter of any polygon: add up all the outsides
To find the circumference of a circle: C = 2*pi*r --OR-- C = pi*d
