prediction an educated guess about what is going to happen
noun a person place or thing
fiction a type of text that is not true that is meant to entertain
nonfiction a type of text that give facts and is true
autobiography a nonfiction book that is written by the author about the author
biography a nonfiction book that is written by the author about someone else
glossary like a mini dictionary of important words in a nonfiction text
map shows where in the world something is
photograph shows exactly what something looks like
caption explains what is in a photograph or an illustration
label gives information about a specific part of a photograph or picture
table of contents lists chapter names and page numbers
index alphabetically lists important concepts in a nonficiton text AND gives a page number where each can be found
