QuestionAnswer
binary compounds Two elements. The second element is the one with more negative character and given the suffix, ide.
polyatomic ion An ion with two or more atoms bonded together. The charge is spread equally throughout the ion.
molecular compound A non metal and a non metal that uses Greek number prefixes.
ionic compounds A metal and a non metal that uses Roman numerals when needed.
universal gas law V1P1/T1=V2P2/T2 A combination of three other gas laws stating that if we know two of the three changes, we can predict the unknown variable.
ideal gas law PV=nRT
