How do you solve equations? Solve equations by performing INVERSE operations.
What is the inverse of adding? The inverse of adding is subtracting.
What is the inverse of subtraction? The inverse of subtraction is adding.
What is the inverse of multiplication? The inverse of multiplication is dividing.
What is the inverse of division? The inverse of division is multiplying.
Give an example of an equation and solve it. -3=4+n -4 -4 -7=n -3=4+-7 -3=-3 True
What are the steps for writing an equation and solving it? 1. Identify variable 2. Write equation 3. Solve 4. Sentence
