Absolute Value The distance of a number form zero on a number line. The absolute value of a number is always positive
Vertical Number Line The top of the number line should always be the number highest in value. The bottom of a number line is always the number least in value.
Cushion On any number line, Vertical or Horizontal you should always have cushion, one extra number.
