| mode | numbers that show up more often |

| opposites | are numbers that are the same distance from zero in oppisite direction |

| range | when you subtract the largest number with the lowest numbers |
| line plot | is a diagram that shows the frequency of data on a number line |
| stem-and-leaf plot | the data are ordered from least to greaatest and organized by place value |
| mean | a set of data is the sum of the data divided by the number of pieces of data |
| vertical axis | it includes the least number, ex 13, and the greatest nmber, ex 76 |
| Clustering | Estimating method in which a group of numbers An estimation method in which a group of numbers close in vaule are rounded to the same number |
| Decimals | A number that has twodigits in the tenths place and beyond |
| equivalent decimals | decimals that name the same number |
| espanded form | the sum of a product |
| front-end estimation | an estimation method in which the front digitts are added or subtracted |

| least common denominator | the least common multiple for the denominators of two or more fractions |
| least common mulitple | the least of the common multiples of two or more numbers |
| mixed numbers | the sum of a whole number and a fraction |
| simplest form | the form of a fraction when the GCF of the numerator and the denominator is 1 |
| venn diagram | a diagram that uses circles to display elements of different sets |
