exponent | in a power the number of times the base is used |

formula | an equation that shows relationship among certain quanities |

function | a relationship that assigns exactly one output |

function rule | able to reconize a input output table |

function table | describes the relationship between each input output |

numerical expression | a comination of numbers and operations |

order of operations | tells you which operation to perform first so that everyone finds the same value |

power | numbers raised to the second or third power |

prime factorization | a factor tree |

prime number | a number greater than 1 |
