QuestionAnswer
what is mean? the sum of numbers in a set divided by the number of numbers in the set
what is mode? the number that appears the most often
what is range? the difference between the largest number and the smallest
What is spread? the equation to finding the range (x-y)
where is center? in the bar of the median
what is Q1? Q1 means quart-tile one which is the difference between the median and the smallest number
what is Q2? Q2 means quart-tile two also known as the median
What is Q3? Q3 means quart-tile three which is the diferance between the median and the maximum
what is Q4? Q4 means quart-tile four and is the maximum
what is a 5 number summary? the minimum and Q1,Q2,Q3, and Q4
