Dead Men's Path

Setting The setting of the story is in a town named Onitsha in southeastern Nigeria and in Januaray 1949.
Mood The mood of the story is happy but mad when they want to put a bridge on the school grounds.
Theme The theme of this story is that you don't need to take something someone loves away from they.
Person vs. Society Mr.Obi doen't want the bridge to come over the school grounds
Person vs. Nature Mr.Obi thinks that the dirt path way is useless and wants to get rid of it becuase when it rains the dirt will run down the hill and gets everything all muddy.
Exposition Mr.Obi is the main character in "Dead Men's Path". Mr.Obi wants to build the path because he says that is were the dead people walk it has been there for years.
Narrative Hook The narrative hook of the story is when they want to put in a path.
Rising Action The rising action of "Dead Men's Path" is when they close down the path.
Climax The climax of the story is when the teacher said "The path". It means that they want to build the road that was already there.
Falling Action When the woman lost her baby while giving birth
Conclusion The conclusion of the story is that the villagers desrtoy the school because Mr.Obi would not reopen the path.
Narrartor The narrator of "Dead Men's Path" is
Tone The tone of the story is happy
Point of View The point of view of the story is 3rd omniscient because the narraotor is part of the story.
Characters The characters of the story is the priest, Mr.Obi,Mrs.Obi, Nancy, Mike, and the teahcer.
Major Characters The major characters in the story is Mr.Obi and The preist.
Protagonist The Protagonist in the story is Mr.Obi because he was trying to close the path.
Antagonist The antoagonist of "Dead Men's Path" is the priest because
Minor Characters The minor characters is Nancy, Mike, Mrs.Obi and the teacher.
Dynamic Character In the story "Dead Men's Path" there is NOT a dynamic character is the story.
Static Character The static character of the story is Mr.Obi.
Indirect Characterization Mr.Obi saw the path way all he could think about was him looking bad because of that little dirt walk way and supervisor inspector to come and give them a bad report.
Direct Characterization The narrator tells you how Mr.Obi is exicited about his promoation.
Symbol A symbol for "The Path" is that want the dead people to walk on it and not people because it is just for the dead people.
Irony An example of irony is that it appears that the footpath was there before the children's ancestors but in reality I don't think there is a footpath for the dead people.
Foreshadowing An example of foreshodowing when you can tell that the next time someone else comes to run the school theey won't mess with the path way.
