| aspiration | the act of inhaling fluids or foreign bodies into the lungs |
| flammability | the capability of burning rapidly or easily bursting into flames |
| reactivity | the follow-up act of mixing chemicals or other substances together and getting a reaction |
| ingredient composition | a listing of the substances in a solution or product or the mixture of substances to form a solution or product |
| licensed reclaimer | a person or business with authority to handle toxic substances for disposal |
| carcinogenicity | refers to the degree to which a substance or agent produces cancer. |
| chemical pneumonitis | is an inflammation caused by a virus or exposure to an irritating substance |
| acute | an adjective that means sharp or intense, possibly referring to pain |
| ingestion | the process used to take in or swallow |
| solvent | a substance used to dissolve another substance |
| hot work | the process or procedure of working around or dealing with electricity |
| chronic | an adjective meaning frequently reoccurring or long standing |
| impervious | an adjective meaning incapable of being penetrated or infected |
| volatile | an adjective meaning to pass off quickly by evaporation |
| lockout/tagout | a safety procedure involving shutting off power before doing maintenance work or denying access to a machine or area |
