What is a solid? | Things that we can see and touch. |
What is a liquid? | Something that can change it's form and is wet. |
What is a gas? | Things like air that you cant see. |

What is volume? | How much space matter takes up? |
Where can you find matter? | Everywhere, matter is everything that takes up space. |
What are some properties of a physical change? | Color, hardness, and being able to stick to magnets. |
What are some properties of a chemical change? | Catching fire and burning and rusting. |
What are some kinds of mixtures? | Solutions and things like salads that we eat. |
What is a solution? | A mixture where three parts are very evenly mixed together. |
What are words we use to describe matter? | Properties. |
Can a solid change it's shape? | No, but a liquid can. |
What are objects? | Things we conceive and touch. |
What do we use to help understand objects? | Our five senses. |
What are the five senses? | See, Hear, Touch, Smell, Taste |
What is it to see? | To look at things. |
What is it to hear? | To listen. |
What is it to taste? | To eat things and get their flavor. |
What is it to smell? | To sniff your surroundings. |
What is it to touch? | To feel things. |
